During the week of Spring Break, Academic Technology's services will move to the renovated Hub where they will be fully operational by March 19th. The Hub renovation includes the whole building with the exception of the current Food Court. The renovated portion of the Hub will house the UF International Center, Office of Academic Technology services and a Starbucks.

The UF Computing Help Desk and Learning Support Services will be conveniently located at the Hub and provide current services such as GatorLink account services, technical consulting, administrative support with myUFL, assistance with WebCT Vista and Electronic Thesis and Dissertations. Help Desk services are also expanding at the new location. Laptop support will be expanded in a larger area and a new service called the Application Support Center will offer personal extended session consults on core desktop applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe applications, video and collaboration service consulting, as well as continuing support for Electronic Thesis and Dissertations and WebCT Vista.

Additional Academic Technology services that will be available at the new Hub include videoconferencing suites, student study suites, collaboration spaces supported with multimedia and videoconferencing, wireless network access for laptops, as well as internet-connected computers and access to printers. Academic Technology's Software Licensing Service, currently located in Building 105, will also move to the centrally located Hub.

The Office of Academic Technology encourages the University Community to visit us at our new location after March 19th. Look for the Hub re-dedication and open house to take place in April.
