According to the UF Privacy Office [5] and the UF IT Data Security Standard [6], authorization from your Dean, Director, or Department Chair is required to access private data.
Examples of private data include, but are limited to:
- Social Security Number
- Credit card number
- Bank account number
- Other financial account numbers
- Drivers license number
- Medical Records
- Private Health Information (PHI)
- Student grades
- Student grade point average
- Student schedules
- Student date of birth
- Student place of birth
- Student survey responses
- Class rosters
